Art Intensive Opportunity Great Christmas Gift

Just 9 years ago I was traveling all over the country teaching art! I am very serious about training young people in visual communication. We are offering a Christmas gift that lasts a lifetime. I am doing a weeklong morning online art intensive the week of November 28 to December 2, that will normally be 250 dollars for only 25 dollars. This is a one time opportunity for older students and adults wanting to learn art. Classes will be at 9:00 AM central time live, but if you can’t make the live classes, you can watch a recording of the lessons and do it on your own time table. This will brighten your holidays. I am also offering a wonderful intern and mentoring program for young people. Rainbow Resources has an amazing art kit to go with the intensive. You will love it! Why is it important to teach art?

Why is it important to teach art? In learning we retain approximately 20
to 30 percent of what we hear and read, 50 percent of what we hear
and see, 70 percent of what we see, hear and do, and 90 percent of when we
teach the same information. It just makes sense that
art is a really good way to learn. I am offering the following classes and
taking students for mentoring in the Kansas City Area. Please
let me know a good way to promote this.
Sharon Jeffus and the Visual Manna team will offer these classes.
Please email us for detailed information and questions.

VISUAL MANNA INTERNSHIP

Visual Manna Internship

Here are some questions answered:

How long does this last?  An internship lasts for 3 months of training or 300 hours: Students will be recognized as graduates of Visual Manna Academy and mentored by Sharon Jeffus.  There are three more months of working for salary after the training.  This is optional.    Students work basically at least two days a week.

What is the cost and what does this include:

Cost for the training is 500 a month. Bartering is accepted as well.

All materials and supplies are included and students will develop their own portfolio including one in a digital format.  They will also receive permission to teach using Visual Manna materials.

What will they be learning?

Students will learn the basic elements and principles of art.  They will learn techniques in media including watercolor and acrylic painting, drawing perspective skills, sculpting in different media, cartoon art and graphic art on the computer, skills in Adobe Photoshop or Gimp, beginning video and filmmaking.   We will try to find their favorite media and then develop their own original style.  We will do murals for ministry and business.  We will work on book illustration and running an art gallery and exhibiting their work.

All materials and supplies will be included in the internship.  If we are getting payments for the commercial work, students will get partial payment for their work and credit for their work.  They can retain the copyrights for the work, but Visual Manna will have permission to use any of their work created in the internship.

We would also like them to attend at least one camp where they receive mural training and learn art for ministry, this will count as part of their training.

To Whom it May Concern,

I had the pleasure of working under the guide of Sharon Jeffus with Visual Manna. Though an aspiring Artist, I knew little about the foundations and principles of art. Now I know not just definitions but the application of said skills. Sharon is extremely knowledgeable as well as optimistic in her teachings. She has personally guided me into being able to be proud of my art, as well as encourage my own creativity. Visual Manna is involved in many different ministry and schooling activities. The heart for using the beauty of art to inspire others and encourage the gospel is a worthwhile cause that God is using all around Kansas City. The Visual Manna Artist Tea Parties are wonderful educational parties to spark creativity, encouragement, and the Gospel in children. The projects are fun for even adults to finish. I love how family-orientated Visual Manna aims to be, and there are benefits and opportunities for people of all ages through their educational services.
