Artsy Animals Being Kind
I love that you were able to incorporate Bible verses. Awesome coverage of all feelings from common feelings and emotions such as happy, sad, mad and scared all the way to using descriptive words such as ...was a real dandy.....quite sappy......even say mellow....to be witty...
I loved the follow through and extension such as violin/lizard.
I love all the rhyming words. Kids really need to be hearing these rhyming words.
Great character education.
I love how you encourage creativity and the kids don't feel threatened. I love it.....

"Artsy Animals Learn To Read is a creative masterpiece sure to delight Montessori teachers and parents looking for ways to stimulate integrated learning. Sharon Jeffus makes learning phonics fun by focusing on the wonderful world of animals. Children receive needed practice in the areas of both letter recognition and phonics patterns. Well written and imaginative drawing lessons appear on each page, often supplemented by interesting factoids about the animal as well as an invitation for the child and parent to do some enjoyable extension exercises."

Joyce Herzog says: "I love the Artsy Animals! What a win/win combination - developing art skills and learning letter sounds. Most children will love this! It is perfect for one boy I am working with right now! I can't wait to see "Artsy Animals Being Kind to Each Other."
"My children went wild with joy when they saw the latest in the Visual Manna line up of products. Michael, my six year old doesn't like to write, but after a few moments of Artsy Animals, he was writing rhyming sentences and illustrating them as well. I was so excited to see him giggling as he wrote silly rhyming sentences to go with his drawings. My eight year old got out a drawing pad and began illustrating her own rhyming words."

"I wanted to write and say how much I have enjoyed Visual Manna 2 with my children. Your approach to art is the way I always wanted to do art. The historical imput combined with simple and effective instructions are winners in my book."

"The curriculum includes a high quality, large loose-leaf binder with each lesson protected in plastic covers. Beautiful full color prints of famous paintings are featured with explanatory paragraphs for each one. The course begins with uplifting and encouraging words to you the teacher/parent, which armed me with the ability and courage to explore the intimidating world of art....This curriculum is perfect for secular, Christian or public school use."

"The word here is 'it was perfect!' I asked the boys if there was anyhing they thought could be different and that was their response. I want to thank you for setting up the seminar. My oldest son had particiapted in an earlier Visual Manna Seminar and I had hoped the last couple of years they would come to our area again. The age ranges were excellent for our family, it's not often that both boys get to enjoy a class together. Thanks again."
~ Janice
"I was going to email you and tell you how much our two enjoyed the day! Big smiles and lots of information shared with the new people they met. We were hoping there would be additional classes during the year. As far as the age divisions, our two are so close together they will probably always be together---both a blessing and a bane???? The length was great ---for me at least. I was able to get a ton of stuff done. Thanks for organizing this. We all really enjoyed the day".

The girls will never tire of all they learned about art, and the workshops will be one of the major highlights of their homeschool years. Your encouragement and instruction toward their art endeavors will be profitable for a long time."

"Artistic creation does not copy God's creation, it continues it. And just as the trace and the image of God appear in His creatures, so the human stamp, sensitive and spiritual, not only that of the hands, but of the whole soul."
