Art Camp
We have scheduled 3 art camps for 2011.
ART CAMP FOR ADVANCED PLACEMENT IS APRIL
13, 14 AND 15. Students learn from master artists,
visit art museums, and get consultation on their
digital portfolio.
ART CAMP FOR ALL AGES
(AP students can also do this camp also) however
all age children do all kinds of art including fabric art
designing tee shirts, sculpting, painting, drawing, and
much more. ART CAMP DATES ARE APRIL 13-15,
JUNE 6-11, JULY 7-16. You can have a wonderful
vacation in the heart of the Ozarks. Specify your
interested dates and we will send you a packet.
You can host your own one or two day art camp locally. We can come and present classes in the visual arts. You can also host your own art camp on the internet. In either case, organizer gets their children in free.
ART CAMPS
WE WILL COME AND GIVE YOU ALL THE BASICS OF ART APPRECIATION, TECHNIQUES OF CHARCOAL, WATERCOLOR, PASTELS, SCULPTING, CARTOONING, ETC. STUDENTS LEARN THE VOCABULARY OF THE ARTS. MOMS ARE WELCOME TO COME AND TAKE PART FREE. COST IS $25.00 A DAY PER STUDENT OR TWENTY DOLLARS FOR FAMILIES THAT HAVE TO PAY FOR TWO CHILDREN OR MORE. EBOOKS ARE INCLUDED! YOU CAN ALSO SIGN UP FOR OUR JUNE 7-11 ART CAMP. Your kids get to come from 9:00 to 3:00, and there is even time for Bible study and recreation/swimming at the beautiful new YWAM Heartland Facility on HIghway 150. Parents are always welcome. Guest artists present techniques daily. We are having a professional graphic artist, architect, fine artist, silk screen artist, t-shirt design and much more. We will do charcoal drawing, sculpting with real terra cotta clay, pastels, painting, mixed media, computer art and photography. Students age 8 to 16 are accepted. If you have a student ages 13-17 who is an exceptional artist and would like to be in the Young Lions Program, let me know in advance. This includes meals, all art supplies, snacks, and access to swimming and recreation until 4:00. A $25.00 nonrefundable deposit reserves your space in camp. We take visa/mastercard. Jennifer, I do teach on the internet. I also have art camp throughout the year and teach at my studio in Lee’s Summit, MO. Your children will probably love the lessons and could do them together.
